Meet Shah
I’m Shah Haleem, and I’m running for Fort Bend County Clerk not for a title, but to serve.
For over 20 years, my office worked with the Clerk’s Office filing deeds, affidavits, legal documents, and records. I know the system because I’ve lived it, and I know how to make it faster, more secure, and truly accessible to everyone in our county.
But long before I was a candidate, I was already serving this community. People in Fort Bend know me because I showed up when it mattered not just during elections, but during floods, during crises, during moments when families needed help. I partnered with local organizations, faith leaders, and small businesses to deliver aid, launch free clinics, support first responders, and raise over $1 million for community causes.
It was never about a position it was always about the mission: to uplift, to serve, and to help Fort Bend grow stronger.
My Vision Is Simple:
-
As your next County Clerk, I pledge to bring:✅ INNOVATION: Implement modern technology to secure vital records & launch a modern, mobile-friendly portal with strong cybersecurity.✅ IMPROVEMENTS: Streamline processes, additional staff training, and expand bilingual support.✅ TRANSPARENCY: Share performance data, host public forums to inform & engage community.✅ ACCESSIBILITY: Bring mobile clerk services to rural and remote communities, and improve disabled and multilingual access.✅ INCLUSION: Ensure fair hiring & pay, mentorship opportunities, and diversity in leadership and staff.✅ ACCOUNTABILITY: Review spending and ensure our tax dollars are spent wisely and effectively.
Now, I’m ready to bring that same spirit of service to the County Clerk’s Office with leadership grounded in Character, Commitment, and Community.
Let’s do this together.
Shah Haleem
Candidate for Fort Bend County Clerk
